Dave your article is excellent as usual, I hope George gets he deserves.
You ask; "what would you do?"... hard to say in a situation like that. Part of me says if they threatened me, call their bluff, till they approach to make good on their threat then, eliminate the threat. Sad that our world has come to cater to the criminals and hinder law abiding citizens from protecting themselfs. I only hope we dont see in the news that they have been gunned down by the group threatening them.

Dave, good article. Thank you for taking some time to give more than just name mention to Cal Brown's victim.
This seems to be missing from traditional media reporting. When an execution is pending, or recently accomplished, it is all about the slimebag condemned. It is as if his victims are nobody's.

I offered the challenge in another fourm, to name the victims of some of our more recent recipients of unwarranted fame. Can anyone name the victims of Green River Killer Gary Ridgeway? Even one victim's name? How about any of Ted Bundy's. Before reading you article could anyone recall Campbell's victim's names? There too lies a misapplication of "Justice". All fame and glory goes the condemned or executed with the victims being relegated to obscure history. It would be nice to see the " media", on their own, make the story of the victims the "news", not the waste of genetic material that killed them.

yet more reason to spend time reading this forum and others, to help me remember the better way of looking at the world. The heroes and the victims NOT the villains or their cheerleaders
