I recently turned 18 and have been looking at a few rifles. One that really appealed to me is the Beretta CX4 Storm. Does anyone have any experience with this gun? Pros/Cons? I will mainly use this for shooting ranges and home defense. Yea 18 and using it for home defense... quite a few stories behind this but mainly my dad house has been broken in a few times, this recent time a M9 was stolen including a lot of expensive jewelry etc...

Haven't fired one. Thought it was OK, but expensive for what you get. You might take a look at the Kel-Tec Sub 2000 for something with similar functionality. Haven't fired one of those either, but it can take Glock mags (i.e. reasonable price 30 round 9mm mags).. It doesn't have the Italian design and isn't quite as ergonomical, but it's a hell of a lot cheaper and pretty reliable as I understand. It's on my got to have one someday list.
