RSS feeds

Forgive me if this has been mentioned or if I am just missing it, but it would be really nice to get RSS feeds added to each page/thread/forum. Otherwise, the forums seem to be running faster and smoother so far.

Rich,

RSS feeds ARE enabled for each forum. Go to the main page at http://forum.opencarry.org/forums/forum.php and you will see the RSS subscription link for each forum.

Suggestion

Some notice, very near the top of the page, where newbies will not fail to see, informing folks of the State-specific sub-forums would be nice.

We've been getting a lot of new posters lately (good), but they are posting State-specific questions all over the more general areas.

And a gentle notice would be far preferable to pointing deadly weapons at them. Even if the latter is more fun.

Print Entire Thread option?

Could we get an option to display the entire thread (all replies on one page) in print mode so that it's easy to capture a complete local copy? I tried fiddling with the page size parameter in the URL but it ignores any value over 40 or so.

Thanks!

Thread Subscription Problems

Hi Guys,

I recently discovered that I was somehow automatically un-subscribed from every thread I'd originated or replied to. (I suspect this happened when the forum software was changed.) Conversely, I am subscribed to this thread

http://forum.opencarry.org/forums/showthread.php?80699-OC-in-South-Pittsburg-Kimball-TN

but do not receive update emails. However, there are other threads to which I have recently replied and DO receive update emails e.g.

http://forum.opencarry.org/forums/s...Keepers-any-other-Tennesseans-who-are-members

Help! :)

Im reading lines that are printed over other lines of text, below this reply box. Also, above this page, I read the following. Warning: parse_url(http:///wiki/Recoil) [function.parse-url]: Unable to parse URL in [path]/skimlinks/includes/class_skimlinks.php on line 102

doesn't the forum have a feature that merges double posts.

i.e. if I post and then post again before anyone else, the next post(s) should get merged with the above post(instead of showing multiple posts).

You can delete the post. I don't think that the "stripe" disappears, but everything else does.

I simulated a double-post and then deleted the second post. (Modify the post and select the "Delete" button.) You can see the results in the next post.

[Wow. This page displays all messed up.]

yeah, i was just hoping for some automation. I would prefer to add to posts(in the manner mentioned) rather than edit them. no biggie, but I know the feature is there(as I have used it on other forums)
