Short article-This is something that should be taught in all schools. Most schools make Sex Ed, Home Ec and swimming mandatory classes. Firearm/Hunter Safety Course should be mandatory as well! This is wear we need to focus and teach!, It's the youth that will repair gun image and protect our 2A rights!

Any ideas on how to get something like this put into the school systems?

Or maybe we could get Martha Dean to move to michigan!

I'm against this. Where is there authorization on the Constitution for the Congress to appropriate funds for the purpose of education?

They already spend enough on education without authority. I'm firmly against them spending any more. If us gun owners want to educate our children, that's up to us. We should not force this expense on others.

Here is my concerns

The schools turned sex education into a Pro gay education now in many states where they spend as much time promoting that lifestyle as they do in so called sex ed. They avoid any mention of not having sex, and instead push the idea with reckless abandon as long you have condoms ready. Instead of staying clear of tearing apart the families values they now condemn them as narrow minded which is a line the school system should never have crossed.

What I see with this is it starts as Gun education and morphs into anti Gun propaganda and asking how many guns and what kind do mommy and daddy have which is also being done in several states.

I like the Utopian idea that they might be fair and honest, but I know damn well better the socialists always use things like this to our destruction. This nation is far from a utopia and it's getting damn close to a civil war if anyone watches whats going on. Also I don't relish the idea of Gang Bangers getting a first rate education on how do a drive by better.

I wish it was different and if this was like it was back in 1965 I would say yes. I will train my own as I have done for over 30 years and I will till I can't...

I agree that public education is broken and shouldn't have been introduced in the first place, but we have to work with the system currently in place.
