Great, and whatever leftwing lunatic the bed wetters at the UN pick to greet the "visitors" will probably totally disgust them and have them decide to exterminate us.

I understand that the UN has single-handedly wiped out the tin-foil supply for the Eastern Seaboard.

It would be funny if we weren't paying for most of the UN nonsense.

Fantastic, yet another example of how the men in light blue hats AKA the UN, are pretty much useless. A space alien encounters ambassador, just what the world needs from the UN right now, because there aren't any pressing global issues to deal with at the moment. That Darfur conflict is much less important than naming a space ambassador, hooray for bureaucracy at it's finest!

Are they going to station the official UN greeters on the Southern US border especially in areas that US CITIZENs are prohibited to be in due to the numbers of illegal aliens and drug smugglers?

This is so dumb. We already have alien ambassadors. They live in the Midwest in single wide trailers. They get abducted all the time. Hence making alien contact on society's behalf since 1947. Duh!
