Some Random Mayor Wants Chaotic Gun Laws, Calls It "Common-sense", Cites iMAG Stats

State legislators should give Columbus and other Ohio cities the power to enact gun-control laws that they took away almost four years ago, Mayor Michael B. Coleman said today.

Citing a report that says states with permissive gun laws produce more weapons used in crimes, Coleman said that Ohio needs "common-sense initiatives" that include local authority to regulate guns.
As most of you know, or should know. Gun laws in states without strong preemption are fairly chaotic, especially in states where the laws can and do vary by city. Therefore by supporting and championing the removal of any and all preemption laws, you are essentially champion chaos. So, is this what iMAG really wants? Chaotic laws that only exist to harm the citizens they are supposed to serve? Yeah, yeah it is.

Coleman should look toward Chicago. Seems common-sense gun control there ain't working out well.

When politicians use the terms "common-sense" and "gun control laws" in the same sentence...it's time to bend over and grab your ankles. It doesn't get any more common-sense than, "The right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed!"
