I traded my SW40VE for a Metro Arms American Classic Commander 1911 45 ACP. It comes standard with an extended slide stop, extended beaver tail safety, combat trigger, and combat hammer I must say for a $475 gun it is a very VERY nice piece. The fit and finish are among the best I've seen, and no "break-in period" was needed. I put 100 rounds of all types through it with flawless performance, and hit quarter sized groups at 30 yards. This gun is VERY underpriced and I'll be getting the American Classic II full size soon. the pic is with a wilson match grade bushing, and a family friend hand made the black pearl stocks for me.IMG00010-20100929-0814.jpg
