This is some fascinating info into the Psyche of Anti Gunners especially by a Psychiatrist Sarah Thompson MD, but is applicable in a lot of different situations. It really is some fascinating reading. Understanding the underlying issues is the beginning of acceptance, change and the key to overcoming those causes.

The Real World.
For those people who are anti-gun because it seems trendy, or they want to fit in with other moonbat types but can still be reasoned with. Then by all means take the time to to discuss the issue, offer to take them shooting, and win them over. For those far left irrational moonbat pukes, don't waste your time. They're a fringe minority of people who have actually reversed Darwin's Theory of Evolution. They represent survival of the weakest link. They're people who would likely have starved to death 100 years ago, or tried to blow dry their hair in the bathtub before the invention of the GFI Plug.

You can't make a person who has irrational fears, or a cult-like devotion to stupidty change their minds. Work with those who can be saved, and defeat the stupidty of those who cannot.

That's true in a lot of ways. But knowledge is power, the more you have, the better. If you know and understand some of the mental issues. It can help you make a decision to discuss, walk away, or chip away at the issue a little bit at a time.
