Doubt I'll be able to make it. It's kinda hard to get off work and make it to Hampton from the Eastern Shore on a week night.
    You all have fun though.

I chose the Hampton Chili's hoping for more people from the southside would be able to attend. (I actually prefer the Newport News Chili's) With less than a week's notice I figured it may be a smaller crowd. Attend if you can, if not we will have other dinners in the future. :-)

    I wants me some baby-back-baby-back-baby-back ribs!!! Or a fajita I haven't decided yet. :-)

    Gonna try to make it..

Put me down as definite "try". If work and Mrs don't get in the way I'm planning on it.

BTW Anybody know where I can get ahold of the Open Carry cards You guys talk about?

It'll need 2 stamps. You might want to PM ed to verify that address. I seem to remember a Virginia address rather than a DC one.

Put me down as a definite 'maybe'. Weeknight and kids' schedules are factors. I know Bridget can't make it up, she's in Norfolk and doesn't get out during the week due to her class schedule.

Sounds like fun, but I'll be at a Homeowners Association meeting instead.

I would love to bring the Mrs along but we both will be busy that evening with our SCA meeting that starts @ 7:30pm.

Not to mention that traffic that time of night getting through the HRBT...

Good luck and have fun for us.

Well we had four people not show up but four others fill their spots so 10 it was. :-)

The service was a bit slow but food and conversation were good. It was nice to meet Average Dad (& average daughter) :-) My youngest daughter usually likes to attend our OC dinners but she was with her mom tonight.
I had fun as usual and look forward to the next time.

Edited to add: While kimbercarrier and I were waiting for everyone else a man from Georgia asked us if we were LEO so we talked to him about OC in VA and elsewhere. I gave him one of my cards and kimbercarrier wrote down a Georgia website. It was nice to talk to him and his wife & daughter stood there listening too. His daughter was a bit bored but his wife seemed just as interested.

We also had a great time. Always nice to meet people new to OCDO and our get togethers. Good food and great conversation always go together. Looking forward to the next one, as always!
