If you have a concealed weapon permit, carry concealed, if not carry open. On October 2nd we want every legal gun owner in the United States of America where it’s legal, to carry thier firearm. Please forward this to every gun toting friend you have. Forward to gun magazines and Radio talk shows if you have contacts in those areas.

I hate the fact that I have to carry a gun. I wish I had no reason to. BUT there is evil in this world and the lives of my loved ones deserve to be protected.

Agreed every day is and should be human carry peotection day.

Why does the original post say that only if one does not have a concealed carry permit should one open carry?

All I did was copy and paste for those that do not have facebook,

My thinking, on their behalf,(not sure) is that in some states if you have a CCW, on the permit it might stat that you can not OC?

    Has anyone heard of this?

    I happily complied all day
    - Knowledge is power and there IS strength in numbers -

"Laws that forbid the carrying of arms disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes. Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man."

Once again, had no idea about this. Looks like I complied in spite of my ignorance though
