Another tragic college shooting--This time in NC...

Apparently, on Sunday evening, a student at Mid-Atlantic Christian University in Elizabeth City NC shot and killed another student in his dorm room, over what administration officials are describing as a "personal matter"...

Of course, this entire story must be made up and fabricated, because according to paragraph 8 on page 18 of the MACU Student Handbook, firearms are prohibited on their campus:

    http://www.macuniversity.edu/default...rticle&id=1884

and according to NC Statute, it is also a CLASS 1 FELONY to have a firearm on school property in NC:

North Carolina General Statute § 14-269.2 provides that it is a Class I Felony
for any person to possess or carry, whether openly or concealed, any gun, rifle, pistol, or other firearm of any kind, on educational property or to a curricular or extracurricular activity sponsored by a school.

(from the NC AG's booklet "North Carolina Firearms Laws" page 19)

And since "everyone knows" that "gun control" laws actually work, and that things like statutes, signs, and administrative policies are all honored and respected by criminals and crazy people, there is simply NO WAY this event happened as reported in the media... </sarcasm>

    Riiiiiight...

So how's that "gun control" thing working out for ya, NC?

What if the shooter was a police officer?

School shooting suspect ID'd as officer
    Suspect of interest: Christopher Amyx

ELIZABETH CITY, N.C. (WAVY) - A person of interest questioned in the death of a Mid-Atlantic Christian University student has been identified as an auxiliary police officer.

Sophomore Jonathan Schipper was shot and killed Sunday afternoon inside a dorm room on campus. Police said Schipper was shot in the head with a semi-automatic handgun.

According to Elizabeth City Police, fellow student Christopher Amyx, 23, was located in a hallway near the victim with an unloaded gun. "He [Amyx] was there at the scene. The victim was found in his room. The weapon that was used was found near him. And he does acknowledge it was his weapon," said Detective Jerry Boyce with the Elizabeth City Police Department.

Police said Amyx was emotional when they found him. "He was very upset, he appeared to be. He was quiet - what anybody would be who had been involved in a shooting such as that - no matter if you're a police officer or civilian. You know, he was extremely upset," said Boyce.

Amyx was taken into custody for questioning. Police said the investigation revealed that Amyx is an auxiliary police officer with the Town of Pinetops, North Carolina, which is about a two hour drive southwest of Elizabeth City. WAVY.com learned Amyx has been with the police department since May. The Pinetops Police Department said Amyx is on administrative leave.

"American Patriot"... You're prediction is spooky...

Not really all that much of a surprise, considering the level of corruption, sociopathy, and criminality endemic among many north-eastern county LEAs in this state, but spooky none-the-less...

How will the anti's justify their cries of "Only Police can be trusted with guns!" in this situation?

So, because the suspect was a cop, he'll get a pass on the Class A Felony of being a student and bringing a gun onto a college campus...

If he'd been a citizen, he would have had this (and several other) firearms-related charges to deal with ON TOP OF the alleged murder.

But the badge gives him a "pass"...

Two different laws for two classes of people.

The alleged shooter in this incident has been charged with First Degree Murder, and is currently being held without bond.

The suspect maintains that this shooting was in self defense.

It should prove interesting to see what the courts ultimately decide on this one...
