We are now running on a new, and hopefully much-improved, server. In addition we are also on new forum software. Any move entails a lot of technical details and I suspect we will encounter a few issues as the new server goes live. Please be patient with us. Back from West Branch...
Met PDfromDetroit and his hunting friend, Sprinklerguy + some of his friends, and YosemiteSam + family. TheQ and lil_freak we already knew....
Very good pizza... excellent conversation... great service... wonderful decor with one heck of a big stuffed bear!!!! in the middle of the place.... and an enjoyable afternoon... including the impromptu (and cold!!) walk to see the fantastic tourist sights.
As Yooperlady and I left we stopped and thanked the manager of "G's" for a very pleasant afternoon.....

It appears local ordinance 93.35 prohibits "Firearms, bows and Arrows; fireworks and other devices" from being within the parks in West Branch. Maybe we should re-visit this city next summer with an OC Picnic/BBQ? Last time we didn't violate their precious unenforcible ordinance because we didn't go into a park.

First I would recommend emailing them or calling them. Many of these ordinances across the state have been corrected after politely notifying them. I have an email sent to the mayor, city council, and all members of the police department.
