There are a few good reasons that I don’t like Mary Washington Hospitol. I am not going to go there as I wouldn’t want to be accused of slander or something, but there are a few I will state for the record.
For starters, my wife got thrown off a horse while we were visiting F berg today.(She is doing ok and will be fine, but admitted for observation) She was knocked cold for a few minutes as well as the way she was thrown was bad enough to be a real life threat. After following the ambulance in and proceeding to enter there were two signs. No smoking on Mary Washington Property and no guns even if they are permit regulated. Never seen that wording before, but makes me think of gun owner regulated.
Regardless, even though I support private property rights especially because we have the right not to do business with such places, this is something of a different monster because the choice could be the differance between life and death all in itself. It is almost like saying in order for your family member or loved one to have a chance; you must give up your right to protection. Its bad enough you are upset and nervous and cant smoke:cuss:, but you have to risk your life to make sure someone else is safe in which they know you will do. I wonder if someone got hurt or killed because they could not protect themselves if they could be sued because it was a non choice forced situation.
I didn’t get out of there till about 9:30, long abandon hallways than out side to where I was lost and had to wander around with my son, to find the car. I couldn’t have run if I would have needed to as I pulled a muscle in my leg rushing to my wife. Sorry but there are some real jewels that hang around the ER at night, and a few sitting in the shadows didn’t make things any better.
They have security guards in the most populated places armed with what looked like hand cuffs, didn’t know they would stop a bullet of knife. :banghead:
Well any way this is the story and I am interested in seeing what some have to say.
