States with weak gun laws...

A handful of states with weak gun laws are the largest contributors to the U.S. market for illegally trafficked guns. That's the alarming finding of "Trace the Guns: The Link Between Gun Laws and Interstate Gun Trafficking," a new groundbreaking report issued by Mayors Against Illegal Guns, a coalition of more than 500 mayors that I co-chair with Boston Mayor Thomas Menino. "Trace the Guns" examines troves of new data released to Mayors Against Illegal Guns by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and for the first time demonstrates the connection between laws designed to deter illegal trafficking and lower export rates for guns used in crimes.
Mississippi, West Virginia, Kentucky, Alaska, Alabama, South Carolina, Virginia, Indiana, Nevada and Georgia were the 10 states that supplied guns used in crimes at the highest rates -- each of them supplying such guns at a rate more than twice the national average.

I'm confused...isn't "Interstate Gun Trafficking" an oxymoron? How exactly does one illegally interstate traffic a fundamental right?

These people are Marxists, who do not believe in private property, and will do whatever they can to diminish and ultimately abolish the right of the individual to do what he wishes with his own property. Guns are just one of the more visible targets of their machinations. There is nothing that you own that they will not attempt to tax, regulate, control, subjugate, manipulate, and ultimately, take from you. That includes everything from the labor of your hands, to the clothing on your back, the roof over your head, and the very body that your soul inhabits. They are evil incarnate.

Question:

Do states that have weak gun laws also have a higher per capita rates of gun ownership? And, therefore isn't easier to steal and then transport these guns illegally in higher numbers?

Your opinion is correct; however, people like Harry, Nancy, and Barry are not Marxists like Stalin, Mao, or Che per se. They are nice Marxists who don't beat you to death with a baseball bat like Che enjoyed, or murderers of millions like Stalin.

They are the new, smiling, non-threatening face of Marxism which is why the label "neo-Marxist". Progressivism always results with enslavement. The power to tax and regulate is nothing more than the power to control ones life.

Labels are ultimately not important. What is important is who is trying to harm you and take your property. I disagree with you that they are not murderers, but out of respect for many of the members here, I will not publicly state why I believe that.
