We are now running on a new, and hopefully much-improved, server. In addition we are also on new forum software. I don't want to just carry because of the threat of a person attacking me but i live in the middle of nowhere and if an animal is going to attack me while i'm out doing yard work or going for a walk i want a "friend" in .45 acp with me.

Recently a neighbor of mine (we live in the suburbs in Stevens Point) reported seeing a black bear on a walk around the neighborhood.
Last weekend at my hunting cabin we heard a pack of coyotes go after the neighbors dogs. I put a shot in the air and that was the end of them.

I carry 10mm and bears are one reason I made that caliber decision.
