Costco couldn't pull it off by themselves so they enlisted the grocery chains for support, so that the init would allow grocers and convenience stores to sell hard alcohol also.

Costco did not start I-1100. The sponsors convinced Costco to back it and help with the petition, after it was already filed with the State.

Why do you feel that selling booze is an essential state function? Why not let private businesses sell it?

Government should only do what, only government can do.
The private sector is more then capable of selling booze.

When someone tells be that this will force cities to make more cuts, I say GOOD they need to make more cuts.

it say OT...I thought that meant Off Topic. There are alot of Posts that on here that dont pertain to OCDO. He was just letting us know his frustrations about Costco. I love the Polish dogs there. Let the flaming begin!!!

I think I'll OC at COSTCO, see how things go, and report back here and at about 20 other sites dedicated to the preservation of the oath I, all other officers, non-coms, and enlisted, as well as all law-enforcement officers, all elected representatives from town mayor or sheriff, and local, federal, and state representatives took in conjunction with respect to our sworn duty to protect and defend our community, state, and country.

If COSTCO can't fathom those 234 years of our nation's history, then they can rot in a vat of communist's red ink (and by that, I simply mean debt i.e. overdrawn due to bad business practices).
