I clearly marked my "OT: Escorted out of Costco: thread as OT or Off Topic.

And it was moved. Since it deals with a WASHINGTON issue I wanted it left in the Washington forum.

Other threads through out the Washington Forum are mark OT. And others are off topic and not marked OT but still allowed to stay.

Mine was moved. And since it deals with Costco and their "Our way or Get Out mentality and a Washington issue I would appreciate if it was put back into the Washington Forum. Or that the other OT threads were also moved so that it does not appear discriminatory.

Oh I know where it got moved

M1, yes I know where it got moved.

What irks me is that it is the only OT topic of the time frame that got moved. I don't like discrimination which appears to be the case here. There are many other topics noted as OT but it was mine that move.

And mine had to do with a Washington issue.

Yet other topics marked OT that have to do with non Washington, non OC, or even national topics remain.

Like I said I just didn't appreciate being singled out for movement.

I am irked that it was moved even though it is a Washington topic and addresses yet one more side of the Costco machine.

Oh well, why fight city hall?

The enforcement of the rules is largely complaint based. When some one brings an issue to the admins attention, they take a look at the thread or post and make a determination on a case by case basis.
no one is "out to get you" get over it.

So a company exaggerated a bit in an advertisement, that is nothing new. If you really have an issue with the way the guy put his hands on you then file a report with corporate or the police.

You said your thread was discriminated against, and it was, but I don't see a problem with that.
If there was no discrimination then no posts would ever get moved at all. Discrimination is a good thing, we all discriminate on a daily basis. I don't understand why that word is so demonized, it simply means to tell unlike things apart.

I know I like the Discrimination feature on my metal detector. It keeps me from finding bottle caps and pull tabs when I'm looking for money or jewelry... Now I feel like a nerd...

I want a metal detector!

Lol. I haven't used mine in so long. It's a head hunter pirate, only controls are on the headphones and up to those it's water proof. I used it for a month or two and got bored with my $300 investment. Pretty sad. You should try it before you invest like I did.... Though I have found that if you're anal like me about finding spent casings, it is a lot easier if you have a metal detector.

But yeah. Time for me to stop being off topic.

I want a metal detector!

I want one too, have been looking at Bounty hunter, since I cant afford a minelabs or Whites.

BTW, dont cry over a topic getting moved, I started a thread and sarcastically put OT in the thread title, and it got moved. Course mine was moved cause one of the thread police cried about it. It was an example of why you have to be prepared at all times cause you never know when something stupid could get the feds knocking on your door wanting to come in and check out your life.

http://www.kellycodetectors.com/garrett/garrett-ace150.htm

The Garrett Ace 150 was one of the most commonly used detectors on the forum that I frequented when I did detect. Most everyone there swore by it and suggested it as a first detector for anyone new who asked. I don't think that Bounty Hunters share the same quality as the Ace.
