    Sig 1911

Here's a shot in the dark, since this is pretty much a dead part of the site, but here it goes: does anyone have or know of someone who has a Sig Sauer 1911? I'm going to get one, but would like to hold one first, and neither Cabela's nor Scheels has any. (or are willing to bring one in, unless you're willing to throw cash down right then). If anyone knows someone who has one, I'd love to take a look at it. Don't even need to shoot it, just feel one. anyway, let me know. Or respond to this even if you don't, so I know I'm not the only person reading the ND section of this site...

There are apparently no Sig dealers in North Dakota.

And apparently no one in the ND forum who is actually from ND. Except, of course, Bowers.

Check the other ND threads - they are some. Lower population density and thereby lower participants.

I have two, a 5" rail and a C3. Not cheap, but outstanding guns. More accurate than I am, reliable and great looking. Finding a holster for the 5" was tough until I checked Blade-Tech. Theirs fits great. Plus, GSRs are made in Exeter, NH, and their customer service is the best I've ever dealt with. After my Browning Hi-Power -- which I've had for going on 40 years, they are my favorite guns with the C3 being my usual carry piece. Check Buds, Gallery of Guns or Gunbroker to get one online.

Could you perhaps point me in the direction of these other ND threads?

Ah, right. You said threads, and I for some reason thought other ND forums, not threads. I think there are actually more threads here in the ND section then there are people in ND.
