As always, GRNC's "Remember in November" candidate evaluations utilize objective criteria to give you the best possible information on which candidates across the state will most likely defend your rights. Meanwhile, the NRA continues to endorse anti-gun incumbents such as Heath Shuler, Mike McIntyre, Larry Kissell and, in the state house, Hugh Holliman.
Meanwhile, when GRNC president Paul Valone wrote about flawed NRA ratings at examiner.com as Charlotte Gun Rights Examiner, someone apparently high in the NRA took time and trouble to mislead readers and malign Valone through vicious and inaccurate commentary. To see Valone's articles, go to:

That's right, folks: Across the state, NRA election alert postcards are going out for anti-gun candidates. Fortunately, GRNC has the capability of reaching more gun-owning voters than the NRA. Thanks to your contributions, we will have radio spots in 2 districts (the next to be announced early next week) and postcard election alerts in 15 districts, including one large congressional race.
But we need more. Many of you have contributed generously to the GRNC Political Victory Fund because, as you know, GRNC is prohibited from law from using membership money to impact elections.
