Considering the political leanings of the WashPo, the fact that it is as evenly divided as it is (approx. 50/50) is pretty amazing.

Okay - took the poll, but I must say it is kind of a ridiculous question. Kind of like: If a pickup killed a pedestrian should the auto maker be sued? How about the responsibility for these acts being put on the person operating the equipment? Where has our Nation's common sense gone? Equipment doesn't work itself now does it?

the gun maker should be held acountable for the death not the person who did the kill or the person who sold the gun because if the gun maker did not make the gun there would not be a death
