How old do you have to be to buy a hand gun in the state of Michigan?

Based on the price alone I don't think HI Point firearms are very good. Just my opinion.

I dont think they make a bad gun, never shot one, but have a friend thats got one he is head over heals in love with it, I just woundnt carry one, one in the tool box-sure, glove box-sure, night stand-sure, just not fond of a boat anchor on my hip. My friends got probably close to 10,000 rounds thru his never a hic-up, when I get back to work I plan on buying one in .45 for the night stand as a back up to my daily carry, and I want one of their older carbines(dont like the stocks on the new ones) for plinking and close up critter control.

When I was in New Orleans, (post Katrina) working security, Hi-Points were the most popular pistol in use by many of the guys I worked with, and this included cops on furlough working there.

They were also among the most reliable I saw on the range.
