    Predictions on the Wisconsin elections?

What will the landscape look like tomorrow night? What will we be able to get changed related to carry? Baby steps, or will we get it all in one shot?

I predict a bunch of butthurt people here when we don't get constitutional carry right off the bat.....

Walker has it in a lock, Johnson has it in a lock and in my neck of the woods I HOPE Kagen gets tossed out on his ass as Ribble rides the "vote the incumbent out " wave to victory, although I doubt it

In politics the only certainty is uncertainty.

I doubt constitutional carry will come to WI right off the bat too. It would be GREAT if it did, and I think you guys should push for it. If it becomes apparent that Constitutional carry won't pass, then push for a permit system that has as few restrictions as possible, and DOES NOT interfere with OC. Good luck in the elections today, I hope I can be carrying in WI (my car included) next year, hopefully before summer arrives!

Yeah good luck to you guys getting Kagen out up there! For where I'm at it looks like honadel should take it. My other state representative (incumbant) Plale (D) was voted out in the primary, now it's another dem. vs Jess Ripp. Hopefully Jess Ripp can pull it out. And I would love to see Sebring beat Moore but I am guessing that there is a only a tiny chance of that happening.

Otherwise I see Walker winning the governor race and Johnson possibly winning the senate race. One interesting thing, it's crazy how many Feingold Barrett signs I saw on Saturday while driving through the Menominee Indian Reservation on my way up to Antigo to hang some stands for deer hunting.

"Pull out" or 'win out', an interesting statement.

Voted this morning on the way into work; Straight Republican. I noted my name wasn't on the ballot, so i chose the lesser of 2 evils. I also noted Homey The Clown's name wasn't on the ballot- cause Homey don't play that i guess.

I am cautiously optimistic. Assuming we get Walker and Republican control of the assembly or senate, we have a greater than 50% chance of getting Constitutional Carry. I believe we can put together a very good argument to at least get 941.23 as it stands repealed. Whether they replace it with something else or leave it die is another question. The thing we need to do TOMORROW, is start writing our newly minted representatives (Democrat, Republican or other) and let them know what we WANT. Keep the message simple, repeat it and maybe by the time the new session starts it will sink in.

This time I think that I'm glad that I am not. I had a loong telephone conversation with an SO DA's investigator, yesterday, generally about Chapter 19 General Duties of Public Officials. I think that I will be more effective as an ad hoc political gadfly not bound by Ch 19.

I'll be writing them. I'm not getting my hopes up too high though.

That elected officials are afraid to face their armed constituency is the ultimate condemnation of American party politics. Sorry, I won't use a security detail armed.

You guys did good! The time is right to become a free state. You have a Republican Governor and state assembly and Senate. Get CC passed and stick it to those who want to limit your rights to OC.

We don't need CC passed, we need the restriction to CC rescinded (941.23).
No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms. Thomas Jefferson (1776)

If you go into a store, with a gun, and rob it, you have forfeited your right to not get shot - Joe Deters, Hamilton County (Cincinnati) Prosecutor

I ask sir, what is the militia? It is the whole people except for a few politicians. - George Mason (father of the Bill of Rights and The Virginia Declaration of Rights)
