Is he gonna leave gun rights to continually waste away, or can we expect some help?

Brown has angered gun control proponents, especially when he urged the U.S. Supreme Court to overturn Chicago's handgun ban.

"I have respect for the Second Amendment," said Brown, who owns three guns and targets shoots occasionally on his ranch east of Chico, Calif. "Gun ownership is a fundamental right."

If you go to his webpage http://www.jerrybrown.org/ there is a popup:

YOU DID IT!
Thanks to everyone for making this victory possible. To turn this breakdown into a breakthrough we all need to come together as Californians first. Please submit your idea(s) to help get California working again

We should all go there and ask for our gun rights to be restored. Put some pressure on him and keep it on!

Ironically his page on civil rights, it only states cases where he upheld the rights of gays and minorities.....nothing about guns.

You're not too far from Sacramento. If you have never been into the Capitol, you need to go. Go to the west end of the main floor, go up one flight and look at the painting of Jerry Brown. You will get a good idea what we are dealing with. He's a radical liberal.

As far as I remember, every other governor had nice, professional portraits or paintings.

Here, let me save you the trip.

I've been downtown many of times(even been in the park), but am a bit embarrassed to say that I have never been inside the Capitol. I keep meaning to go, but other things arise. I know he's a liberal, and this is a liberal state(due to a few highly populated counties)....just wishful thinking I guess. Thanks for the link btw.

Is that an impeachable offense?

My take on this is....He was elected by the majority of the people. Good, bad or indifferent, we will have to deal with it on our own level.
