Drugs: Police cited a 50-year-old Neenah man for possession of marijuana and a marijuana pipe after finding the items in his pocket in the 700 block of Main Street. Police stopped and searched the man after receiving a report that he had pulled a knife on two men in a restroom at a nearby tavern. Officers found a pocketknife on him, but he was not charged with endangering safety or carrying a concealed weapon because police could not locate the alleged victims.

OCT. 22

Hunting: A complainant said a hunter was sitting on the rocks shooting his gun in the 1400 block of E. Forest Avenue. Police said no violation occurred because the hunter was completely in the water.

OCT. 20

Hunting: A complainant reported that a canoeist was hunting close to the shore of the Neenah water plant. Police determined that because the canoeist was in the water and not on the shore, no ordinance was violated.
In the hunting violation complaints the wrong department was involved.
