Veterans, Active Duty & OC what could be better....? All of the restaurants on my list are OC friendly.

ID can include - DD214, Active ID card, Veterans Admin ID card, I usually get by with just my hat.


(1)The RAM - free lunch or dinner entree with purchase of same.

(2)Famous Daves BBQ - has a special menu with free eats for the Vets & AD.

(3)Eat Free at Applebee's
Military veterans and active-duty Service Members will be able to eat free at any Applebee's across the U.S. on Veteran’s Day, Thursday, Nov. 11, 2010. There will be six entrées available from the menu. Guests will be asked to show one or more of the following as proof of service: a U.S. Uniform Services Identification Card, U.S. Uniform Services Retired Identification Card, Current Leave and Earnings Statement, Veterans Organization Card, a photograph in uniform, or wearing a uniform in person. Golden Corral's 9th annual Military Appreciation Monday dinner will be held on Monday, November 15, 2010, from 5 to 9 pm in all Golden Corral restaurants nationwide. Thurston County Annual Veterans Day Ceremony begins Thursday, November 11 with The Star Spangled Banner performed by Washington State American Legion Band at 10:30 a.m. Master of Ceremony retired Army veteran JW Johnson shared that in showing honor and respect the ceremony will promptly begin at 11 a.m. with cannon shot by Tumwater American Legion Post #166 and prayer by Chaplin Bob Cox of the Marine Corp League followed by guest speakers. Olympia VFW Post #318 Honor Guard will provide 21 gun salute followed by Taps. No cost.
