2010 could have been a bad year in Madison for the Second Amendment.

WI-FORCE and our lobbyist, Bob Welch of the Welch Group, monitored over 100 bills and potential bills in Madison pertaining to firearms and hunting.

Yes, I said over 100. When you needed a voice, WI-FORCE was there. We were able to get a few good bills passed and, more importantly, we stopped all of the very bad bills. WI-FORCE was your voice.

This is great, another pro permit group teaming up with the NRA. Geee I wonder what kind of cc bill they would like to see.

We must contact our lawmakers today, tomorrow and the next day to remind them of Constitutional Carry.

I think that's their state affiliate's name. Doug, what does the rules say about attacking another gun rights organization? - Gray

I see it's been around since 2006, or at least the domain has, and am curious about the folks running it. Any info would be appreciated.

    Thanks

I also received notification of this article by way of Google Alerts. Looks like it, in colusion with the NRA, wants to run the show.

Yes, it is THE chartered Wisconsin Association of the NRA.

Wasn't Welch a state senator or assemblyman during the last CCW go around who was defeated in the next election after that fiasco?
I had to change my signature because you know who got upset about it.

I found my own answer to the question I asked.

taken from the Welch group website:

. Bob was elected to the Wisconsin State Assembly in 1984, quickly rising to leadership positions. After ten years of service, Bob was elected to the State Senate in 1995, serving until 2004.
