While wasting time on Facebook I decided for some grins I'd browse WAVE's page.
There's no way to reply to comments there unless you "friend" them, so I did.
Left 4 or 5 comments, all completely polite & rational & relatively short, before suddenly I wasn't allowed to post any more.
Hmmm...
So I went back and friended them again, and still can't reply to comments.
Guess they don't like polite rational discussion of ideas.

I saw they also erased the comments I'd made, including asking how we (as a society) are helping women protect themselves. Someone before me asked a similar question, which was also removed.

They must really hate it when reality and rationality interferes with their agenda. I am not surprised at their response to your comments at all, though. That was a very predictable move on their part. When it comes to an organization like WAVE its all symbolism over substance, and observations based on reality and logic will always shoot a big ol' hole in their arguments. They just cannot have that, no no, not at all. Its entertaining to hear, however. I'd let you friend me but my wife and I deleted our facebook accounts long ago and have never looked back.

Yes, that was our experience too. Apparently they allow and condone any sort of abusive comments by anti-gunners, but cannot tolerate any expression of disagreement. Yes, as they say, gun control isn't about guns-- it's about control!

They "obviously" like free speech and a "fair and balanced" opinion forum. HAHA
I once made a post about women and self defense but it "got lost" somewhere.
MKEGal, you can be on my "limited" friends list too.

If they don't believe in the 2nd amendment, what makes you think they would believe in the 1st? There are many pro-2a groups on FB, and I have seen a few anti remarks on a few. They dont last long either.

Feel free to add me to your lists, Curt Evers on FB

They are an antifreedom and antigun group masquerading as an anti violence and pro safety group. They do it (She does it) for the children...:banghead:
I have been saying for a long time that the best way to counter them is to beat them at their own game. Unfortunately, WI "Gun Rights" groups are still too fractured to get together on their own and no umbrella organization yet exists to unite them.. There are alot of groups with their own little rice bowls taking a piece of the action but most are ineffective...

WAVE- A fully functional professional organization has been created essentially from scratch and is now up and running with a solid infrastructure.
An active coalition of partner groups is in place, drawn from sectors including public health, violence prevention, law enforcement, families and children, education, faith, grassroots, community and neighborhood-based, and others.

It's NOT surprising that Herb Kohl is a contributor to WAVE! For someone that has sworn publicly to uphold and defend our Constitution, he seems to go that extra mile to tear it apart.

I know, it's for the children! B.S.

I am always amazed at how Jews like Kohl, Bloomberg and Barabra Boxer can be so anti-firearm freedom after what happened in Europe and given that Israel won its freedom at the point of a gun. Maybe these ultra-rich American Jews should spend some time talking with Israel's citizen-solders.

None of them fought in the liberation war, none of them were in Germany when Hitler persecuted the Jews. They have no concept of disarmament and what it really means. Remember the Star Trek episode (Eden) where the hippies wanted so badly to get to the planet they perceived to be the new Eden? Once there they were all killed by nature and the foliage? Kind of like that, they don't know what it was like then so they have no fear of being totally defenseless. That and the fact they have 24/7/365 armed guards for their protection.
