Obama's Back-Door Anti-Gun Tactics

President Obama is shrewd. He'll never overtly state his support for gun control, but various measures to date indicate he's against us, not for us.

In the last week of May, 2010, President Obama announced his administration's support for the U.N. Small Arms Treaty:

"According to recent deliberations regarding the treaty, signatory countries would be required to "prevent, combat and eradicate" various classes of guns to undermine "the illicit trade in small arms." Such a plan would necessarily lead to confiscation of personal firearms." - Source

"Rush’s district is located primarily on the South Side of Chicago. He and President-elect Obama want to enforce the same unconstitutional and wildly ineffective gun laws on the rest of the nation that they have foisted upon the fine folks of Chicago." - Source

Because of these and many other anti-gun connections to Obama, I'm now firmly convinced his signing of the law regarding carry in National Parks was simply a way of appeasing those of us who hold to our 2nd Amendment, without much skin off his nose.

Obama has overtly stated his desire for gun control. FWIU, the UN small arms treaty is not supported by the administration because of the anti-firearm provisions in it. Even if it was the case that Obama had signed the treaty, the Congress would have to sign-off on it, and even a Democrat led Congress would never commit to the world telling us what we can do with out firearms. If that was the case, it would have been signed, delivered to Congress and approved.

How quickly people forget that Obama even said he would try and reinstate the assault weapons ban. Granted that was early on and he later pretended he didn't make that promise along with some others.

"Put not your faith in the promises of princes."

A politician is one who, by definition, will tell you whatever he/she thinks you want to hear, mainly for purposes of election or re-election. Once they are elected or re-elected, they very quickly forget those promises.

Obama, and the political machine he came out of, have as their ultimate goal complete power of the people they wish to rule. Understand that he, and that particular machine, are not alone in their goal. Nor is that political party alone in that desire to rule rather than govern.

The only thing that is keeping us from becoming a nation of subjects, rather than free men and women, is the fear the politicians feel at knowing that we free men and women are armed and capable of defending our rights and our nation's Constitution.

While in a dentist office during the two progressive socialists candidates campaign for presidency, I was reading an outdoor hunting type magazine there, He stated in an interview he wanted more control for guns that "kill people".

:banghead::banghead: That is what they were made for!!!!!:banghead::banghead:

The problem is that our Constitution has been effectively unenforceable and has had virtually no bearing on the course of government for 70-80 years and almost no one has even noticed.

We are certainly seeing that with the head of the TSA saying he knows that the airport searches and screenings violate the 4th and 6th amendments, but that they will keep doing them regardless of what the courts say.

That was indisputable proof to me that the America I grew up in, and served in the armed forces for, has died. In it's place is a placebo masquerading around as a free country, and led by the very forces that I so long had been taught was the enemy, 'Socialists and communists with the more modernistic name "progressives".'

No, what'll happen with the TSA if it ever goes to court, is the courts will (read: should) more than likely rule in favor of the citizen, i.e., stop groping everyone and stop taking nudy pics of everyone.

So, they'll stop for a bit.

Then, conveniently, a couple months (if that long) later, something will happen for that court decision to get completely tossed out the window (another 9/11, another whity-tighty bomber, etc etc).

It's all to 'protect us' and make us feel safe. It's what the sheeple want.
