Hey Guys!

I am a long time lurker and a first time poster.

I hope someone can help me out. I am getting ready to buy my next gun. In an effort at optimism, I plan to use my next gun for concealed carry! But I want to make sure and buy a gun that is comfortable to carry and shoot. I have pretty big paws but I don't want a gun that is too large to carry comfortably.

Does anyone know of a range that has a large selection of rentals? I live in central WI (just north of Portage) but I will travel if it is worth my time.

Thanks!

Carry on!

May I suggest, find someone local, or willing to meet with you to try out a Taurus PT140 or PT145. You said you have big hands so I would say any LCP is out.

I wore CCW compression shirt, recommended to me by Fireball357, to Scheels to try out concealing handguns. The PT145 concealed quite well and it's not a small gun. http://magills.com/pgroup_descrip/3...lment+Shirt+-+FREE+Belly+Band+Offer/?return=? One thing I did notice, the bigger the lat spread, the better the concealment.

Oh, and Welcome.

Although I am not from the area, I've stopped at Mid-Western Shooters in Lomira and have seen that some guns are for rental at their range. Might be worth a try.
