Any "smart phone" Android users?

Has anyone use Google talk on there cell phone instead of the telephone option?
By using Google to make your calls you have unlimited time and free calls to Canada.
I am sure it works with the iphone. Just wondering about an Android phone.

I have an HTC G2 Android phone on the T-Mobile network. It has Google Talk, but I've never used the program because I have a loyalty plan with unlimited nationwide minutes. As far as calling Canada, well, I don't think I've ever had a reason to call Canada.

Phone guy called me yesterday on it worked pretty good.

Did you ever try to make a call on your phone using Google voice? I like to get a smart phone and use this feature but need to talk to someone that has used it.

I tried to use it today so that I could give you a better answer, but couldn't justify spending the time to figure it out. It says I have an account balance of $0.10 that must come standard from Google, cause I never added a dime. Again, my plan is unlimited so I have no reason to use google voice at this point.

I'm sure you could get more info through a quick google search on the subject than you'll ever get from the people in this forum.
