    New Years Day Meet Up

Since having a good time getting kicked out of a few of the downtown casinos. And finding one that we could eat at. I decided why not take it back to the strip and try and find a buffet that we could eat at. I know of a few good buffets off the strip but I'm not sure of the ones on the strip. If anyone has one that they want try first lets hear it.

Oh yeah, this is a lunch time meet. 12 noon with a location to be figured out later. That's if it is far from the usual McDonald's spot.

Could be fun, might be fighting a hangover :-) Buffet sounds like the perfect cure. The strip is packed New Years Eve, how busy is it during New Years Day?

As far as buffets go, I'm down for any of them.

I figured the revilers will start milling about around noon. So I think there will be quite a bit of people around. Should be a lot of fun.

I know for a fact that The Venetian and Palazzo will toss anyone with a firearm, and any Harrah's property will be off limits to me because I'm an employee. I'm definitely down for a daytime meat up any time.

As much as I hate to ask for permission perhaps a few phone calls would be I'n order. I'm a Wynn employee and I don't see that going very well let alone making it to the Buffett

"YOU GUN OWNERS" up there in Nv. need to start to petition all the casinos on the importance of self protection while on casino property, not just in the casino, but the restaurants, the shops, the shows ect..ect..

Most of the casinos depend on tourist as their main source of income. A petition from Nevada residents might get some attention I doubt it would change most of the casinos policies. On the other hand if the statement was changed to “ALL OF YOU GUN OWNERS” need to start a petition might have an impact. If traveling to Las Vegas when calling to make reservations ask if they pursue the norm of most Nevada corporate companies by following the State laws as far as allowing firearms. Call a few hotels you do not plan to stay in and ask, when they say no let them believe they just lost a customer.

After reading your addition to my post, I have to agree with you and think tomorrow I will post your changes to the General Descussion thread, I`d do it tonight but wife is home from work and time to watch TV.

    Ok, so far so good.

We usually do a fair amount of walking when we go to the strip, so... lets look for lunch sooner than later, that way if we are asked to leave, we can leave with a smile knowing that someplace more deserving will get our 25.00 per person, and if it takes a few trys, we get exposure, and so do they.

I have been in the Rio a few times while OC'ing had never had any issues. Most likely because nobody saw. I ate at their buffet with zero issues too. It is really not on the strip though.

I suspect that your pistol is dwarfed by the enormity it's backdrop.

Sure like to be there however the wife and I will be on our motorcycles on a group campout in Death Valley. No Ocing there. May be the group will get lucky and find a casino that will accept OC. This strip and lunch outing will be a great test.

If we're going to venture into a casino, may I suggest one that is not a Harrah's joint?

Looks like it's going to be a cold one! Hope that doesn't discourage some of you from joining us.

Sure had fun at the last few meet ups. Like to be there. Call me crazy however, I be with a group on a motorcycle camp out in Death Valley Commiefornia. leaving in the morning. May be not too crazy, I have a pop-up tent trailer with a king size bed and a heater that I pull behind the bike.
