I was wondering where I could find that ammo at? From what I read You have to be a LEO in order to get it. But that was old info from about three years ago. So I dont know if that has changed. If not or it is unavailable, what would be a good replacement ammo I could get? Are the Speer GoldDot 124gr any better? Suggestions or info would greatly help Thanks!

I searched their site using: federal 124gr 9mm
and found these. They also sell it 500 or 1000 rounds at a time, which of course is cheaper per round.

The pictures show that both boxes say "law enforcement", and the text under the HST listing says that it's Federal's policy to only sell this to LE & military, so this is a limited supply.

I just ordered a few boxes in .40 & .45.

I recall someone else posting their home expansion tests of this stuff in 9mm and the results were SCARY. :eek: I'm surprised to see it for sale, and at a decent price too!

I noticed shipping was about $10.50 for one box and about $11.50 for three boxes. Something to keep in mind.

Woah, talk about best price I could find. $35.50 shipped for a box a 50. 71 cents a round for a defensive round! Glad I check this forum daily.

I use Spear Goldot 124g hp +p here in Texas. They sold it to me when i bought my gun, a couple months ago.
