Lunch Meet in Downtown Louisville 12/15

Thread was taking a direction that expanded to something more than the title covered, so we'll talk about meeting up in this one.

When: Wednesday 12/15, 12:45p
Where: Restaurant in Hotel Louisville, 120 W Broadway
Dress: Typical attire for the lunch crowd is business professional. I usually have nice jeans on and a sweater or button-down shirt. (Remember, we are ambassadors for our cause!)
Approximate cost: menu starts at $3.75 including a water/tea/coffee. Credit cards accepted. Please tip your server.
Rules: Properly holstered handguns only. We do not want to interfere with their normal business in any way. (this should be a given for those interested in the strengthening of the OC movement, but something tells me if I don't say it...)

If you can come, great! If not it's no problem, I was going to eat there anyway. There is always the possibility for future dates as well.

Going to do my best

I am going to try my best to make it... my Boss was called to Mexico on a family emergency, and i am the only supervisor in our plant. but i will try to get away for the meet up. I really would enjoy meeting you all even if i can just stop in for coffee.

hummm wonder how i will know you all.........lol

Anyone else planning on coming? I've got a friend coming as well, but he's not on the forum.

We had a total of 4 for lunch today. gutshot was able to make it, as well as my friend. He even brought along another co-worker of ours. We all OC'd, and one of the servers helped me and gutshot find each other, she saw our sidearms and figured we were meeting each other (he had gone looking for me in the coffee shop, I was running a few minutes late from work). The other two attendees were from Indiana and are not on the forum currently. It was a good time, with some lively discussion about carry in general and issues surrounding it.

Hope to see a few more people at the next meet. Let's try for Wednesday, Jan 5th at 1:00pm. I will probably be there on Dec 29th around 2 as well if anyone is interested, but I don't want anyone to feel obligated to join me. There's always room for another OC'er at the table.

sorry guys i didn't get to attend, didn't get a chance to have lunch till 1:30 but with the advanced notice of the next one there should be no issues in making it. Glad you all did meet up sounds like a great start to something we could do fairly regular. My hats off to you all.

Must it be on a Wednesday? As long as it's during the week, I'm out. I get the feeling your attendance might be a little higher if it wasn't dead center in the work week. Understandable if that's you're only day off or something, but just sayin'.
