I don't keep any ammo in my car, but any situation where reloading a mag and continuing shooting is a better option than using my car to get the hell out is so infinitesimal that I'm not gonna worry about keeping extra ammo in the car.

a hair clip, stripper clip, or battery clip?

or do you mean magazine? big difference between the two

this is a clip, technically a stripper clip:


They are used to insert rounds into the gun itself. the MN 1891/30 and SKS are examples of this type of clip system

this is a magazine:


They are used to carry extra rounds in and easily reload either a handgun or rifle.

As far as I know, there are no pistols that use a clip to reload. They all use magazines

A lot of people use clip and magazine interchangeably, but as explained above... well, he made the point!
