Madison, Walmart, TOO FUNNY!

My 5yo son wanted to go to (as he calls it) Ghetto Walmart on Hwy30 in Madison...SO we went there...quite crowded. We both went into the bath room. Upon coming out I was causually engaged in a conversation by a 40something woman..
her: Sir, are you a police officer?
Me: No, ma'am
her: are you a fireman?(shes got a wierd grin)
me: Nope. not that
her: are you a security guard or something?
me: ahh, Nope.
her: Well, I see youre carrying a gun. Then what are you?
Me: Im a dental hygienist.
her: Really? (the most dumb-founded look ive EVER SEEN)
me: Yep...In WI anyone can carry a firearm as long as you meet certain criteria to do so'
her: Serious? I didnt know that!

and thats the conversation. Wish i could've had video and audio of that!

I LIKE that one Citizen! Actually the dentist ive been temporarily working with is also into guns...he has rifles but is looking into getting a handgun...we got talking about guns the 1st day i was there 3 weeks ago. After work he was all excited for me to bring the g27 in to show him...

I am guessing that this was a customer you were speaking with?

If she was terrified of seeing someone with a firearm holstered on their side, she would not have been standing there asking questions, right?

I have talked to many people while carrying and while some say they are "uncomfortable" around sidearms, NONE were "terrified" or fearful.

No one is really used to seeing ANYONE (saddly) with a side arm..unless youre LEO or such...gotta get 'em edumacated.

Thats cause so many have gotten so used to the idea of Concealed Carry and think its THE ONLY way to carry.
