I was asked to leave bye the head security on Saturday night after eating at dockside and then went to my truck and afterwords I then proceed to go to the bar "was not drinking" told me i could not carry inside the bar and then provided a safe to put my firearm in. I had no problems with that. After i recovered my firearm form the safe i went to the bathroom as i was walking to my truck I was asked to leave. I asked for the rule that said gest could not carry and he was not ale to provide me with that. Told me to go to corporate the next day.

I just got back from corporate still did not provide me with the documentation saying that i could not carry at the cda resort same guy TIM LIBBY. ASked me to leave agin and still did not provide me with documentation and then presented to tell me that I would not be allowed back on the property armed or not.

wile i was talking to corporate I was talking though a door microphone.

I have it on very good measure that OC and carry in general is allowed on CdA Resort property. The only no gun policy they have applies only to the employees, not to guests. He couldn't provide you with one because there is no written policy about guests possessing firearms.

FWIW, I have been OCing in and on the CdA Resort's property for about 4 years now, including inside the security office. Never had an issue with the rent-a-cops there.

That is pretty surprising. I say go back. I was there today without an issue.

ETA: I have a buddy looking into this. He works for the company that owns the resort and has worked for them for about 4 years now.

I went today and went to the corporate office because that is were i was told to go bye the head of security "Tim Libby" told me to go then the called him on the radio and escorted me back to my truck i was compliant the whole time and he said now that i had "disturbed" business for the 3rd time i could not go back on the property and if I did I would be trespassing.

One of my friends is in the security department and I was chatting with him on my way to the bathroom when I was originally told to leave because of his BOSS "Tim Libby" did not like it.

the manager of the shore lounge said it was fine in the resort just not in the bar. I am ok with that not satisfied but ok. they provided a safe wile i was in the bar. it was on my way to the bathroom after I had retrieved my pistol that i had issues.

I have sent an emale the information quarry on the site.
Asking what the policy with guest and guns were.

if what your saying is true I expect a formal written apology from Tim Libby

I will post what i get back from the emale

Hmmm, I would have a hard time checking my gun into a company's safe unless they provided me a key/combination.

Have to respect their property rights but certainly don't have to give them your business.

Then it becomes personal choice as to whether you will support them despite their policies. Each person will react differently. Some of us will refuse them our business, others will go and just conceal while some may go and secure on premise. They were within their rights and I would appreciate they offered an alternative to leaving but would only go there if friends or business associates had chosen the spot.
