    Open Carry Favicon

Not a big deal but can we please have a favicon for the forum?

    How about an "O" ringing a "C" ringing a "D" ringing an "O", creating a target-looking kind of icon?

Apparently favicos are 16 x16, which is not much space for all four letters, so I roughed out an "O" ringing a "C" ringing a bullseye.

And I mean rough. I am no artist. If someone has more talent and can refine the idea, have at it.

I like it. Are you an admin to the server who can load it? If you need to convert it to an ICO you can do that by going to http://www.favicon.cc/. Also you can always make an animated Favicon if you want to have the letters scroll by then create a target from OC.

I created it with favicon.cc, but OCDO would not let me upload it as an attachment of that type, so I converted it to BMP for the upload. I don't have any superpowers here, so I throw the file out as an idea that someone else may or may not run with.

I like that one a lot and hope we use it. However the big thing is that we just get one.

Another good one. Perhaps we should make a poll if we get enough submissions so we can vote on it.

I liked your first one better. I would rather news and visitors not think we are wanting to kill people.

Is it my imagination, or does it bear a resemblance to a copyright symbol?

A copyright symbol that has been shot center mass.

    Is the copyright symbol copyrighted?

    My ten minutes of fiddling

If you'd like something more, I know of some graphic artists in the area. Otherwise, I can properly align the letters, adding further illumination effections, etc. Probably a better, more consistantly well-rounded font. Neon red on black, who knows?

Nice. I don't think it will scale well to the 16 x 16 limitation for favicons, though.

Ok. Here's another, in 16x16, this time, and sort of a takeoff on the copyright logo, but with a bullet being shot out of it.

Scratch that last... I shifted the C around and edited the shading.

I'm also using it as my avatar for a while.

I think anything you have to explain what it is, is no good. That's why I think a target or a pistol would be best
