Really nice place, off the beaten path a bit - found it in spite of my GPS's insistence that it was somewhere else.

Wood post and beam construction, stone fireplace with real flames, and lots of patriotic decor. Hot hush puppies and butter served while we waited for the food. The food was literally heaped on the platters and some of the best I have had anywhere.

Met there with 3 NC friends and Skidmark - always good to put faces to user/screen names. Could have talked for hours.

Yes we were OCing - no, there were no problems - and yes I'll definitely go back.

Thanks again for the hospitality guys, it was well appreciated.

I just want to confirm that the food was GREAT! We took some home to finish it later, and I'll have to visit the place if I'm in the area again.

Of course, I'll also have to contact you guys again as well.

It was a distinct pleasure to meet you and your family. The conversation was as good as, if not better, than the food.
