Merry Christmas to all, from Contra Costa Open Carry.
If any of you are getting new firearms or giving new firearms, please take a few minutes and train the new owner in the safe use and storage of firearms.
Each and every firearm has their own design, so please, do not rely on old knowledge of how they work.
Make sure that, if any kids get get a new firearm, that they know the basis safety rules.

1) Treat Every gun as if they are loaded
2) Never touch without an adult (if you see a gun, Don't touch, leave the area, and tell an adult)
3) Never point the gun at anything you do not intend to shoot.

Again, Guns are not bad, but you do need to be safe with them.

Have a Merry Christmas,
Dale,
CCOC
