Very nice indeed! I don't get a new gun until March. I did get a digital voice recorder though, but that doesn't match up to your present. Very nice indeed!

only a few rounds? How about a few hundred???

Well, I said as few rounds as possible. What I meant was as few rounds as is necesarry to get used to the gun.....and have some fun with it. This could very well run into the hundreds....or thousands. I'm not to concerned for the functionality as my other Colt is 93 years old and about 10,000 rounds through it under my hand alone and still going strong. Just want it to stay new. This does not mean that it isn't open for some fellow OCers to play with. Should we meet up at the range you are all welcome to feed her to your hearts content.....well...within reason.

A personal friend of mine gifted my son the twin to this, purchased new in 1973 w/all papers and box - only a couple of hundred rounds through it in all of those years - it was a safe queen. It is a safe queen no more, has become his carry gun of choice.

My boy is a stand up guy to begin with, but he stands a bit straighter and taller when he holsters that Colt. Lot of special meaning there too, if you knew the history behind this friend and I.

Thanks for your service Sempercarry - come home safe.
