    Henrico investigates wounding of security guard

    "Henrico County police continue to investigate the shooting of a security guard during a robbery attempt Thursday.

    The incident occurred about 10 p.m. at the Oak Hill Plaza shopping center on Mechanicsville Turnpike in eastern Henrico, said Police Lt. H.C. Smith II."

    Little additional information has been released on this.

    Obviously it was an attempted armed robbery.

    Well, that's how it's being characterized by the official news sources, anyway. I'd like to hear the shooter's version of the facts, as well as any witnesses. Maybe what we're getting is accurate; maybe it's not. Can't really tell.
