Not even 2 hours into the New Year, and already Baltimore has two homicides and additionally, one shooting and one stabbing where the victims are expected to recover on the board.

In 2010 Baltimore "only" had 223 homicides. Seems like they may be off to a record-breaking start for 2011, though.

So, how's that "gun control" thing working out for you, Gov. O'Malley, Superintendent Col. Sheridan, and Mayor Rawlings-Blake? The nation is laughing at you, while we pray and cry for the poor, unfortunate, law-abiding "subjects" of your fiefdom...

In the "Free State", only the criminals roam free, be they in the 'hood or in the State House...

They'll just say if there was shall-issue CCW then they'd have 400 murders instead of 223. It must be nice when your laws don't work and you just say "it could've been worse" as a defense.

Bloodymore, Murderland... the city that bleeds. Denial is a way of life... but it's their 'Happy Place'. LOL!

You will never see RKBA recognized in MD unless some court orders it... 'n that's not gonna happen either. Most people in MD still think it requires government permission to even own a gun. The gun registration myth is equally endemic. It's MD... 'doesn't have to be true... just repeated often enough.

And then there are the 300+ deaths EVERY YEAR for the past decade which have been labeled "undetermined cause" in Baltimore that aren't included in this figure, but we won't go into that here...

Sorry that there aren't any statistics or stories newer than 2008...

In 2009, the Baltimore ME started refusing to release the information regarding "undetermined deaths" to the media and the public, so there hasn't been much reporting on it, and what little reporting there WAS in 2010 was purely speculative.

Gee, I wonder what they have to hide?
