Baltimore Wants Possession of an "illegal loaded firearm"=18-Month Sentence...

Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake and Baltimore Top Cop Bealefeld said in a press conference recently that she will be pushing Annapolis to change MD firearms law, to elevate an arrest for possession of an "illegal loaded firearm" to a much higher crime (not just the low-level misdemeanor it is now), with an 18-month mandatory minimum sentence...

Just another reason for lawful firearms owners from neighboring states to AVOID traveling to or through Maryland...

If the "officials" in Maryland REALLY wanted to reduce crime in their state, they would follow the lead of VA, WV, PA, NC, and about 36 other states showed a significant reduction in violent crimes when they went "shall-issue".

Calling John Lott, calling John Lott... MD GA--STAT! Liberty is "coding" in Annapolis...

Hey Dreamer, is this the same woman that I saw an article about in the newspaper this last summer that was convicted or plead guilty to misappropriating public funds??? I thought the deal she worked out allowed her to resign if she would just disappear and never embarrass them again. Must have been another female Mayor of Baltimore.

You're thinking of Mayor Sheila Dixon. Different person.

Although they ARE both members of Mayors Against Illegal Guns--Bloomberg's propaganda machine, so they have THAT in common...

Interestingly enough, nearly every female member of Mayor Rawlings-Blake's staff, and many of her appointed government positions are from her college sorority--Alpha Kappa Alpha, which is jokingly referred to by some as the African-American version of a female Skull and Bones because of their near-monopoly among black women in government and bureaucratic positions nationwide...

AKA members often find themselves at the center of corruption scandals. In Chicago, an AKA--Chicago Housing Authority comptroller Barbara McKinzie (and ex-AKA President)--was accused of misappropriating over $1 million of AKA's funds for her own use:

They claim among their members lawyers, medical doctors, government officials, high-level bureaucrats, judges, CEOs, music and broadcast execs, and high-level educators.

Michelle Obama was given an honorary membership in AKA in 2008.
