Will be visiting your fine state soon, specifically Las Vegas, and plan on visiting the casinos shows etc., the normal "Vegas stuff". I am an OC'er from AZ so I am perfectly comfortable OC'ing and will be doing so while in LV. Any advice on places (certain casinos etc.) I should watch out for?

Thanks in advance guys (and gals)

You most likely will be asked to leave some of the "big" casinos on the strip. Mostly depends on if someone complains or if you have security looking to be hard nose. Most other places you will have no problem. Enjoy your stay and leave plenty of your money behind...

I do not know of any openly gun friendly casino. Most Nevadans on OC NV carry open everywhere. Check out the open carry pamphlet posted on open carry org NV for the no open carry places. There is no law stopping open carrying in a casino however if it is the casinos policy they will ask you to leave if they notice the firearm. They are not required to post no guns allowed signs. Most casino security is fairly friendly when asking you to secure the gun or leave. The casinos recourse if one does not comply by securing the gun or leaving is to have the person tress passed, which is not an arrest more like a formal warring. If one was to return after being tress passed, they can then arrest which would be for not leaving when asked. If your plans are to enjoy the casinos, shows spending a lot of time inside the casinos I believe you will eventually be stopped and asked to secure the gun. If your mission is to exercise your right to carry, carry open while in the casino, realizing you may be asked to leave and come back without the gun. If you mission is to enjoy the shows and casinos activities you may want to carry concealed if Nevada recognizes your conceal permit. If I want an uninterrupted evening with my wife while in a casino I conceal going back to open carry as soon as I get back to my vehicle. Open carrying on the strip, Fremont experience is no problem. Most non-casino strip and Fremont experience business will not make an issue with open carry.

What about in a car while travelling through the state? Can I have it in a belt holster while driving? In the glove box? Does it have to be in plain view at all times?

As long as it's not concealed on your person you are good to go. Belted holstered is good. You can go from open carry straight to getting in your vehicle without touching your gun.

Orleans hosted USPSA nationals a few months back, and I OC there all the time (just saw the mechanic yesterday). One of the few places I've never had a problem. Was also in Rio with no problems one night gambling, and eating.

Also to add to the car thing, loaded and chambered is fine here for pistols.
