Im look for any Michigan case law related to preemption, home rule, and firearm ordinances. I found the one for the Ferndale situation, but have been unable to find any more. Can someone point me in the right direction?

Other than the statute and the Ferndale decision, you might check into the lawsuit filed against Grand Haven for the arrest of Chris Fetters. The city settled and it was based on an arrest (later dropped) using their local no guns ordinance. I don't know if any records are on line, but you may be able to FOIA some info.
