When I called the conservation department about this, they said it was legal, but be careful about a state park that also falls within a city/county that has a restriction on open carry.

I think there are only a few parks that this might apply to, up around St. Louis. Hopefully one of the guys near some of the larger cities can clarify those.

If the State park is within the City limits of a City that prohibits OC... NO OC. If not, and I've spoken with the State park folks in Jefferson City... Missouri and the State parks are legal for OC!
If you pull it, you use it. If you pull it and you don't use it, you've done some thing wrong and you might not get another chance. Think about it before you pack it!
I worked 24/7 for 2A OC rights! Don't like what I did? Try it yourself, it was my full time job!
