I don't get the the point of this bill at all..and "high capacity" is not defined....

http://www.cga.ct.gov/asp/cgabillst...illType=Bill&bill_num=HB06078&which_year=2011

That the general statutes be amended to prohibit a retail store, whose principal trade or business is the retail sale of goods other than firearms and ammunition, from selling high capacity magazines for semi-automatic firearms.

The M1 Garand and Mauser Broom Handle use clips. I don't see a problem in limiting them. If arrested for a hi cap 'magazine,' the charge would have to be nol prossessed. Or could it be the sponsor of the bill is a moron? Oh wait, it mentions 'clips' in one line and magazines in another. Why not ask the lying, pos "Viet Nam Veteran, oh not really" blumenthal CT elected to elaborate? He may have seen one while he was pushing papers in safety in the States and planning on stealing others' valor.

its odd..they are not banning them..they are not even trying to stop gun stores from selling them..just other retailers...I don't know who this might affect..maybe Cabela's...
