"Secure areas of police stations" should be removed. There is no such law that prevents individuals from lawfully carrying a firearm into any area of a police station, except (according to 801.262) when it involves prisoners and guns (such as a prisoner obtaining a gun while in jail, a non-prisoner giving a prisoner a gun, a prisoner selling another prisoner a gun, etc...).

So unless your intent is to go to a jail facility (which could be construed as meaning a police station lobby) to provide a prisoner with a gun, or you are a prisoner yourself, you can lawfully carry into a police station- even in to "secure areas" (whatever that means).

I do agree with your assessment. I should have not even mentioned jail....since the prohibition is actually that you cannot enter the jail and has nothing to do with firearms. However, am not willing to edit the video just to change that one thing. It is pretty minor, and editing and reposting the video is a huge pain! It seems pretty clear that carrying a gun in a police station is ok....since the video indicates

Banks are ok
Police Stations are ok
All non-federal Government buildings are ok, with some exceptions for secured areas of a jail.
Polling places are ok
