I do not personally know the man, but enough members of this forum who have my utmost respect have spoken most highly of him.

I do not have a "dog in the fight" so-to-speak, but he has my support.

Mine, too. I'm pretty sure every student in York County that has been through the 5th Grade DARE Program has met Sheriff Diggs. He is an outstanding Sheriff and responsible member of Society. If there were more like him, there would be FAR fewer problems in this country. My two favorite Lawmen are Sheriff Diggs and Sheriff 'Joe' Arpaio of Arizona.

Have met Sheriff Diggs on several occasions - he has my utmost respect.

Would that he could be cloned - believe that he could do a lot to straighten out the mess in Surry.
