Durbin's Carolyn McCarthyism In FAA Bill

S. 223 CONTAINS DANGEROUS AMENDMENTS

More word on the stealth gun control we alerted you to this afternoon. Rumors are running strong that Senator Richard Durbin (D-Illinois, of course) has designs of introducing some modern day McCarthyism into S. 223, which is an aviation bill dealing with the FAA. Of course we are speaking of the McCarthyism brought about by Rep. Carolyn McCarthy (D-representing NY and the Brady Campaign) which is on the hunt to destroy your firearms freedoms. The word in the hallowed halls of Congress is that the McCarthy magazine ban might be only the beginning of this stealth attach on your rights.

You must act now to stop this and let them know that you are watching. We have received assurances that Sen. Richard Burr is solid on this issue and will vote against any such amendments. So our focus will be with Sen. Kay Hagan's office.

Make sure they know about this scheme and that they must oppose Carolyn McCarthy's Magazine Ban every step of the way whether it's attached as an amendment or not.

And make sure they know you're watching.

Please note that this is an aviation bill. If you do a search for gun related issues, it may not show up. Don't let this subterfuge throw you off the trail.

I've heard this from several sources, and none of them have anything specific to say.

The amendment has not been revealed yet just that it is pending and it is from Lautenberg.

I think I'll wait to see what it is I'm acting about. I'll be happy to read/act on new information when you get it, so keep us updated.

I've seen several different topics about this issue, but no direct link to the bill.

I haven't seen any proof, links, etc. either. Will keep an eye on this.

Well duh- we can't know what's in a bill until it's passed and becomes law. So says a once esteemed lady of Congress who's name and significance seems to have been flushed out of my memory already....thank God.
